We have been remodeling our bathroom.
This little detail makes me so happy!
(I'm obviously easy to please:)
I'm not certain, but I believe children and husbands can even change the toilet paper now!
Next...
I'm pretty sure I have the worlds most OSM shower curtain.
See those snaps?
REMOVABLE AND MACHINE WASHABLE SHOWER LINER!
Now I might even wash it since I don't have to fiddle with the rings to get the liner down, so I can scrub a nasty plastic liner w/ soft scrub.
Seriously, do you have any idea how osm that is?!
(Lowe's, $24.99 and worth every penny)
I'm not quite ready for the big unveiling, but here's a sneak peak:
This... (motel-style bathroom)
is turning into a Hilton-style bathroom...
More on that later!
Meanwhile, here's my low point of the weekend...
(Don't look if you have a weak stomach!)
I was cutting shelf liner.
Here's the thought progression:
Oh fat, that's deep!
Oh fat, I'm going to have to sit in the ER waiting room for 5 hours.
Husband, can we just tape it?!
Nope, you gotta go.
Google "Urgent Care".
Right down the street; osm.
What time does it open? 1pm.
Time now? 12:45pm
YES; I'll be first in line!
Husband, it's my left hand, I'll drive myself, back in an hour!
It wasn't just an hour, but close.
I was the second person there and only sat in the waiting room for 5 minutes tops.
6 more people piled in within that time.
I was so excited even though my finger felt like it had it's own pulse.
It gets worse before it gets better.
Tried to numb the whole finger to avoid a needle right in the cut.
Didn't take.
LOTS more numbing needed.
RIGHT
IN
THE
CUT.
I suddenly got really religious.
Sweet Jesus take me home!!
Remember I've never experienced natural childbirth.
Low pain tolerance.
Very low.
When husband had his vasectomy only "one side" got numb.
Well I'm sure that was more painful, but at least we got a baby out of it.
